Karl Welborn graduated from Coventry University with a first-class degree with honours in Occupational Therapy. He has since studied at master’s level in the field of leadership and innovation and Injection Therapy (Neurology). He has over 19 years of dynamic experience working in healthcare and is the Director and Consultant Lead Occupational Therapist for Well Way Rehabilitation Solutions. Karl has great knowledge of working in the National Health Service where he was clinical lead for Occupational Therapy in the hyper-acute, acute and community stroke, neurology and complex rehabilitation services.
Jordan Welborn is a qualified, HCPC registered Occupational Therapist who graduated from Coventry University with a BSc with Hons in Occupational Therapy, and is a general member of the RCOT, with additional memberships within the specialist sections relating to Housing and Neurological Practice. Prior to commencing his degree, Jordan successfully achieved an access to higher education diploma in health studies, forming a solid base of knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, psychology and sociology that put him in a great position to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, illnesses and injuries.
John Ridgway has worked in healthcare as an Occupational Therapist in the National Health Service for twelve years and in private practice for over four and half years. After many years of experience my areas of expertise lie within critical care rehabilitation, for patients with multifactorial presentations including physical and neurological injuries, multi-trauma and neurology.
Kayleigh graduated from Coventry University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy first class honours degree in 2016. Kayleigh currently works as a Senior Occupational Therapist rotating between The Worcestershire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Evesham Community Hospital and North Worcestershire Community Stroke Team.
Eleanor graduated with a Degree in Occupational Therapy from Coventry University in 2016. Eleanor currently works as a Senior Occupational Therapist on a Community Learning Disability Team working with individuals with complex physical health needs including a wide range of neurological conditions, mental health and sensory processing disorders.
Amelia graduated from Coventry University with a first-class degree with honours in Occupational Therapy. She has since obtained a master’s degree with Distinction in Advanced Practice in Occupational Therapy, specialising in Neurology, Ethics and Law. Amelia has worked in several NHS and Civil Service neurological settings within the UK, primarily within Neurological Rehabilitation.
Clemency graduated from Coventry University in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Occupational Therapy and has since gone on to specialise in Paediatric Occupational Therapy. Clemency has completed two Msc modules in Ayre’s Sensory Integration and is due to complete her PG Cert in Sensory Integration in May 2020.
Diane has been employed by the NHS for almost 8 years in a variety of roles, her current position involving the rehabilitation of Stroke patients in their own homes for a community team. In this role Diane works alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists and nurses implementing treatment plans to assist patients to return to activities of daily living which are meaningful to them. Diane is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for people.
James is a highly motivated and enthusiastic sports minded individual with a vast experience within the Active Leisure industry. Embarking upon a career within neurological rehabilitation with the hope to begin a Degree Level Apprenticeship in Occupational Therapy whilst keeping an active role in Health & Fitness as a master trainer and educator of subjects he feels so passionate about.
Having worked with clients for over 17 years, helping them achieve their goals Wesley ‘Wes’ has built a vast array of experience and skill, working with clients from all walks of life. Wes has valued experience working as a personal trainer on top of his neurological rehabilitation skills making him a dynamic asset to any client’s case.
Working with adults from all walks of life, within a multitude of environments is where Roshilo feels honoured and privileged to make a difference to someone’s rehabilitation potential. He has experience working with complex neurological clients as well as non-complex rehabilitation cases.
